Sanger Law, PC is thrilled to announce the addition of two attorneys to the firm: Diego Rivas and Max Greene. After many years of working for positive change from within nonprofits, they will continue their impactful work in private practice helping to shape energy policy in the Pacific Northwest and Intermountain West.
Max Greene joined Sanger Law as a partner on September 1. Mr. Greene comes to the firm from Renewable Northwest, where he served as Deputy Director, overseeing the organization’s engagement with legislative, administrative, and regulatory matters in Montana, Idaho, Washington, and Oregon, and representing the organization as counsel in various matters. Prior, Mr. Greene worked as a staff attorney at the Conservation Law Foundation and clerked for Judge O. Rogeriee Thompson on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit.
Diego Rivas joined Sanger Law as an associate on August 1. Mr. Rivas comes to the firm from the NW Energy Coalition, where he served as Regulatory Counsel, focusing on matters such as demand-side management, rate design, and resource procurement in Montana, Idaho, Washington, and Oregon. Prior, Mr. Rivas worked on issues pertaining to federal climate legislation.
Mr. Greene is located in Portland, Oregon, and Mr. Rivas is located in Helena, Montana.
